Providing Gas Safety Certificates in London and inside the M25.
Why do I need a gas safety certificate?
If you're a landlord renting out part or all of a property, it is a legal requirement that you have all gas appliances and pipework in the property checked and be able to provide a gas safety certificate as proof of compliance.
A gas safety certificate needs to be renewed every 12 months. |
I'm a landlord. What do I need to do?
Well, call us on 0844 567 2548! We'll send a qualified gas safe engineer to the property. We will be inspecting the boiler, pipework and any gas appliances. If in the course of the gas safety inspection, we find that the gas system is unsafe or needs repair we will advise you before we commence any remedial work. If the gas system is safe we will issue a Gas Safety Certificate. |
Three copies of the gas certificate
The certificate comes in triplicate. One copy is for our records, one for the landlord and one to be kept at the inspected property for the tenant. A copy of the certificate must be kept for 2 years. We will also store a copy on our bespoke client portal called Datanet. This allows you or your tenants access to an online copy of your certificate whenever you like. |
Don't forget! We'll send you a reminder!
We can then send you a reminder next year when your Gas Safety Certifcate is due for renewal. It is good practice for landlords to have an annual boiler service performed to ensure the appliance is working efficiently. It also prolongs the life of your boiler. We can also arrange this for you. |
